titleOfInvention | Method for producing 2,4,6,8-tetramethylcyclotetrasiloxane |
abstract | (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Purpose] The reaction solution does not have a high molecular weight and gels during the production of 2,4,6,8-tetramethylcyclotetrasiloxane containing Si-H bonds. And a method for producing it in a stable yield. A method for producing 2,4,6,8-tetramethylcyclotetrasiloxane comprises cleaving and cyclizing at least one polymethylpolysiloxane selected from a chain polymethylpolysiloxane and a cyclic polymethylpolysiloxane. Organodisiloxane having a boiling point higher than that of 2,4,6,8-tetramethylcyclotetrasiloxane when produced by reaction 9 (R 3 , R 4 and R 5 are reacted in the presence of an aliphatic chain hydrocarbon group or an aliphatic cyclic hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, or a phenyl group). |
