An ultrafine crystalline silicon light emitting material, a method for producing the same, an element using the ultrafine crystalline silicon light emitting material, and a method for producing the same are provided. [Structure] The ultra-fine crystalline silicon light-emitting material is composed of extremely fine ultra-fine crystalline silicon with an average grain size of about 7.5 nm or less, and it should not contain impurities or lattice defects at the boundaries between the ultra-fine crystalline silicon.
