Transfer printing medium |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a transfer printing medium and a method thereof for use in laser induced transfer printing. A transfer printing medium comprising a carrier to which a curable laser transferable ink having one or more layers is added, the transfer medium being capable of converting laser energy into heat. Since it has at least one colorant, (b) at least one polymerization initiator, and (c) at least one curable prepolymer, the types of materials that can be used in the ink are expanded and specified. The properties of the ink to be adjusted as required for the application can be enabled. |
