abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To provide pacing by supplying stimulating energy to the myocardium of the human heart for a long period of time to make a lead capable of sensing an electrical signal from the myocardium. A bipolar lead having a sleeve electrode to be implanted in the myocardium and a pad electrode to be positioned on the pericardium. The first electrode is implanted in the myocardium and the second electrode is positioned on the epicardial surface of the heart. The fixation is made over the entire length of the coiled suture added to one end of the lead. The electrodes are configured for directional electrical stimulation. It contains a drug that is delivered to the myocardium through electrodes and is easy to implant, The relatively low pacing threshold and efficient high pacing impedance allow for excellent sensing.
