(57) [Summary] [Structure] At least one selected from the group consisting of a transition metal compound represented by the following formula, an organoaluminum oxy compound, and a compound which reacts with the transition metal compound to form an ion pair in a particulate carrier. The solid catalyst for olefin polymerization obtained by prepolymerizing an olefin in a suspension or a gas phase containing a solid catalyst component carrying the above compound and an olefin polymerization method using this catalyst. [Chemical 1] [Effect] An olefin polymer having a high melt tension can be polymerized with high polymerization activity and is excellent in storage stability. |
