(57) [Summary] [Purpose] A plywood made of fibrous wood veneer used as a structural material for construction, which can overcome the disadvantage of conventional plywood, which is anisotropy, and improve the performance significantly. [Structure] In plywood, a material having tensile strength and elastic modulus sufficiently larger than the base material as a reinforcing material between wood veneers, for example, interposing continuous fibers such as glass fiber or carbon fiber as a reinforcing fiber reinforcing material. Used as a base material of the wood veneer, the reinforcing fiber-providing fiber intervening material is intervened to heat-press, and a phenol resin or the like is used as an adhesive for impregnating the wood veneer, and the reinforcing material is also used. Is impregnated with a silane coupling agent to improve the adhesion performance between the base material adhesive and the reinforcing material by chemical covalent bonding. As a result, it is possible to provide a reinforced plywood which is a plywood and has excellent performance as a wood material having no anisotropy and which is reinforced by glass fibers or the like and has strength not inferior to natural wood. |
