abstract | (57) [Summary] [Objective] To provide a simple method for producing a polyimide optical waveguide. A method for producing a polyimide optical waveguide, in which polyimide is irradiated with radiant light to form a core of the optical waveguide in an upper portion of a lower clad. A method for producing a polyimide optical waveguide, which comprises irradiating a polyimide with radiant light, producing a core of an optical waveguide in an upper portion of a lower clad, and further forming a clad made of the polyimide on the polyimide. [Effect] The number of manufacturing steps of the optical waveguide can be reduced, and the optical waveguide having the embedded structure can be easily formed without bonding the polyimide films to each other or performing spin coating on the peeled films. |
