titleOfInvention Method for producing photochromic polyvinyl butyral interlayer
abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] In the method for producing a polyvinyl butyral interlayer containing a photochromic spirooxazine-based compound, polyvinyl alcohol and butyral are condensed as polyvinyl butyral, and pure water washing after the condensation is performed by washing with filtered water. The degree of butyralization was 60 at an average degree of polymerization of 1000 to 1500, which was carried out until the acidity of the solution was in the range of pH 6.0 to 7.0. A method for producing a photochromic polyvinyl butyral intermediate film, characterized in that -78 mol% of polyvinyl butyral is used and the intermediate film contains a plasticizer in an amount of 20 to 40% by weight. According to the production method of the present invention, the photochromic compound is not modified by heat, acid or the like by setting the PVB film formation conditions to specific conditions, and the production performance and film strength as an intermediate film are good. An excellent photochromic interlayer film can be obtained. The interlayer film thus obtained is used as an interlayer film for laminated glass for building materials such as vehicle-mounted glass and window glass by being sandwiched between two transparent glasses.
