titleOfInvention | Composite material, grinding tool using the composite material, and grinding method thereof |
abstract | (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Purpose] A grinding tool and a grinding method using a composite material that allows stable creation of properties such as machined surface shape and roughness, quality, and easy control of processing conditions. I will provide a. [Structure] A hard material 2 having a large shape aspect ratio and having a cross-sectional shape and cross-sectional area which are constant or substantially constant in the longitudinal direction and which can be used as abrasive grains is dispersed in a plate-like matrix 1. Form a composite material. The hard material 2 is oriented with its longitudinal direction forming a predetermined angle with the thickness direction of the matrix 1, and penetrates in the thickness direction as a continuous body. This composite material is provided on the uppermost layer of the substrate to form a grinding wheel or a grinding belt. In grinding, electrolytic in-process dressing is performed using this grinding wheel as an anode to continuously project the same cutting edge shape onto the surface of the grinding wheel. |
