(57) [Summary] [Objective] A magnesium alloy material is formed with a coating having satisfactory corrosion resistance not only in a salt spray test (SST) but also in a complex corrosion cycle test (CCT). [Composition] A magnesium alloy material having an iron content of less than 0.004%, a nickel content of less than 0.002%, and a copper content of less than 0.015% has a carboxyl group after being subjected to a coating base treatment. It is characterized in that powder coating is carried out with an epoxy powder coating using a polyester resin as a curing agent or an epoxy powder coating using a dibasic acid dihydrazide as a curing agent. |
