(57) [Abstract] [PROBLEMS] To provide a system with low heat dissipation for containing or guiding a cryogenic fluid. A cryogenic fluid 14; a first monolayer 12 having an outer side surface facing directly or indirectly towards the cryogenic fluid 14 and exposed and an inner side surface facing away from the cryogenic fluid; A low heat dissipation cryogenic system comprising a second monolayer 16 spaced from the layers; and at least one block or layer of condensable airgel extending from the first monolayer to the second monolayer. In another variation, the airgel is 250,000 Micrometer in a gaseous environment with a pressure below mercury. In another variation, at least one of the monolayers is flexible to transfer an external load, such as that imposed by the atmosphere, to the at least partially condensable aerogel, and the condensable aerogel is responsive to the load imposed thereon. At least a portion can be transmitted from one monolayer to another. |
