abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a direct-packing ink for use in a water-based ball-point pen which has no drooping property and is excellent in writability at a low temperature, this ink, and a ball-point pen filled with this ink. [Structure] Dye 3 to 10% by weight, moisturizing moisturizer 10 to 40 % By weight, 0.4 to 1.0% by weight of a thixotropic agent comprising a cross-linked acrylic acid polymer, and a molecular weight of 1 or 2 selected from a polyethylene-polyethylene glycol copolymer and a polyester-polyethylene glycol copolymer. A direct-packing ink for use in a water-based ballpoint pen, which is composed of 50,000 to 100,000 dripping-preventing agent 0.1 to 0.5% by weight and the balance water.
