Method for producing alkali chromate from chrome ore |
abstract |
(57) [Abstract] [Purpose] A method for producing alkali chromate from chromium ore. A method for producing an alkali chromate by reacting chromium ore with an alkali compound and performing oxidation in an atmosphere containing at least 50% oxygen is described. A mixture containing the leaning material of 100 in an atmosphere containing less than 2% by volume of oxygen It is heated to a temperature of 0 to 1400 ° C. and, in a second stage, oxidation is effected at a lower temperature of 900 ° C. to 1070 ° C. while supplying an atmosphere containing at least 70% oxygen. |
