Biaxially stretched polyester film |
abstract |
(57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide a biaxially stretched polyester film having excellent slipperiness and abrasion resistance, and excellent surface characteristics as a base film for a magnetic tape. [Constitution] Polyester having an average particle size of 20 to 200 n m containing substantially spherical colloidal silica particles, containing 0.005-1.0 wt% based on the resulting polyester, A biaxially stretched polyester film containing alumina particles having an average particle diameter of 50 to 500 nm, which is relatively larger than the average particle diameter of the colloidal silica particles, in an amount of 0.05 to 5.0% by weight based on the produced polyester. |
