(57) [Abstract] [Purpose] It is an object to provide a lithographic printing plate that can be rapidly and effectively imaged using laser radiation. [Structure] The lithographic printing plate member has a top surface layer 1 00, a radiation absorption layer 102 below the surface layer 100, a second ablation (melt removal) layer 104 below the absorption layer 102 and a substrate 106. The surface layer 100 and the second ablation layer 104 have different affinities for ink or an ink repellent fluid. Radiation absorption layer 102 Are absorbed by the laser radiation and ablated. An adhesion promoting layer 108 for promoting adhesion between the second ablation layer 104 and the substrate 106 is included. |
