(57) [Summary] [Structure] A catalyst for the oxidation of p-nitrotoluene composed of a Co compound, Mn and / or Ce compound, a Cr compound and a Br compound, and a molecular oxygen-containing gas in an acetic acid solvent in the presence of such a catalyst.
