titleOfInvention Image forming device
abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] Even when a small-diameter photosensitive drum is used, a uniform image is formed without causing image unevenness due to an increase in residual potential. In the image forming apparatus of the present invention, the photoconductor drum 13 includes a conductive base 30 and a photoconductor film 12 formed on the surface of the base 30. The photosensitive drum 13 is rotated more than one rotation to form one image. The photoconductor film 12 is charged by the main charger 14 by corona discharge. The charged photoreceptor film 12 is It is exposed by the optical device 15 to form an electrostatic latent image. The electrostatic latent image on the photoconductor film 12 is developed by the developing device 16. The charge removal brush 24 arranged on the upstream side of the main charger 14 applies a bias voltage having a polarity opposite to the charging polarity of the photoconductor film 12 to the photoconductor film 12. As a result, the residual potential of the photoconductor film 12 can be sufficiently removed before being charged by the main charger 14.
