abstract | (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide an improved radical curing system of a rubber using an improved co-curing agent and a radical curing rubber using the curing system. A radical initiator and, as a co-curing agent, an acrylic ester or methacrylic ester in which at least two hydroxyl groups of a hydroxybenzene compound or a hydroxynaphthalene compound containing two or more hydroxyl groups are esterified. With acid ester, Radical cross-linking of natural rubber and synthetic rubber derived from a diene-based monomer gives a rubber excellent in abrasion resistance and air oven aging. The recommended co-curing agent is an acrylic acid or methacrylic acid ester compound of hydroxybenzene containing two or three acrylate groups or methacrylate groups per molecule, and the co-curing agent is used in an amount of about 100 parts by weight of rubber. It is 1 to 50 parts by weight. |
