titleOfInvention Polyester pellet and method for producing the same
abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] It is difficult to fuse. The surface formed when the molten polyester is molded and solidified has at least one dent, and The pellets are roughened after solidification. The overall shape of this pellet is cylindrical or elliptic, and the area of the recessed portion is 1/30 to 1/5 of the area of the side surface of the columnar body. It is desirable that the difference from the surface roughness is not smaller than 0.4 μm. Pellets are manufactured by discharging molten polyester from small holes with a circular or elliptical cross section to form strands, cutting the strands while they are in a semi-molten state and pelletizing them to mold and solidify the molten polyester. It is advisable to form at least one indentation on the surface of the pellets formed during the molding, solidify the pellets, and then roughen the surface of the pellets formed during molding and solidification of the molten polyester.
