abstract | (57) [Summary] [Object] The present invention is a full-color multicolor image forming method, which is effective for preventing color mixture and obtaining a good image when a toner is sequentially superposed on the surface of an image carrier to form a multicolor image. It is intended to provide a clear full-color image by various means. A rotatable image carrier and a developing unit for developing the electrostatic latent image formed on the image carrier with a two-component developer carried by a developing rotary sleeve of a developing device in a non-contact manner. At the same time, the magnetic poles provided in the developing rotary sleeve are set so as to be located between the magnetic poles in the developing section, and the two-component developer is fixed to the electrostatic latent image section by the developing rotary sleeve. An image forming apparatus having a regulating member which is conveyed and formed of a non-magnetic member and which is provided in non-contact with the surface of the image carrier, wherein the regulating member is provided on the pole of the magnetic pole, and the image carrier is rotated for the development. An image forming apparatus characterized in that when the distance between the sleeves is D and the distance between the image carrier and the regulating member is H, 50 μm ≦ D−H ≦ 500 μm. |
