abstract (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Purpose] It can be applied to carriers, conveying members, and other triboelectrification members, has mechanically sufficient strength, and has triboelectrification properties for a long period of time. Provided is a frictional charge imparting member for a negatively chargeable toner, which is capable of imparting excellent negative chargeability to a toner without deterioration in performance even after continuous use. [Structure] A compound having the following general formula is dissolved or dispersed in a solvent, or a coating liquid in which the compound is dissolved or dispersed together with a resin is applied to the base material of the frictional charge imparting member, or by a resin in which a specific compound is dissolved or dispersed.
