abstract | (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a method for efficiently producing a microporous polyolefin membrane from a highly concentrated solution of polyolefin without impairing the stretchability. [Structure] A polyolefin composition containing 1% by weight or more of an ultrahigh molecular weight polyolefin having a weight average molecular weight of 7 × 10 5 or more, and having a weight average molecular weight / number average molecular weight of 10 to 300. A solution consisting of 50 wt% and a solvent of 50 to 90 wt% was prepared, the solution was extruded from a die and cooled to form a gel-like composition, and the gel-like composition was added to the melting point of the polyolefin composition +10 A method for producing a microporous polyolefin membrane, which comprises stretching at a temperature of ℃ or less and then removing the residual solvent. |
