titleOfInvention Electrophotographic toner
abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a toner capable of forming a high-quality image with high density for a long period of time in non-contact development. An electrostatic latent image bearing member and a toner bearing member are arranged at a constant interval, toner is carried on the toner bearing member to a thickness smaller than the above interval, and the toner is placed on the electrostatic latent image bearing member. A toner used in a developing method of flying an electrostatic latent image and developing the toner, which is obtained by adding an external additive to toner mother particles mainly composed of a fixing resin, a release agent, and a colorant, and 1 kg of the toner. The toner for electrophotography has an adhesive force of 0.015 dyne or less per toner contact point due to vertical tensile fracture of the toner after applying a load of / cm 2 .
