abstract | (57) [Summary] [Structure] A charge injection layer containing a charge generating substance and a charge transporting substance is provided between a charge generating layer and a charge transporting layer provided on a conductive support, and the charge injecting layer is also provided. At least one of the charge generating substance and the charge transporting substance therein is the same as the substance contained in a layer other than the charge injection layer. [Effect] The initial sensitivity characteristics are high and the change in sensitivity after the copying test is small. In addition, since charge carriers are not trapped between the charge generation layer and the charge transport layer even after repeated use, problems such as increase in residual potential and decrease in dark area potential can be solved, and high electrostatic contrast can be maintained for a long time. |
