titleOfInvention | Light control material and light control element comprising the same |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Structure] In a dimming material that includes a liquid crystal and a polymer and controls the light scattering state depending on whether or not an electric field is applied, the polymer is a (meth) acrylic compound and a monofunctional mercaptan compound. And a dimming element in which at least one of the dimming materials is sandwiched between transparent electrode-attached substrates. [Effect] Since the light control material of the present invention has a good film uniformity, a light control element using the same is excellent in voltage sensitivity, difference in transmittance with and without application of an electric field, and repeated response. It is useful for display devices, dimming windows, etc. |
