(57) [Summary] [Object] To provide an industrially valuable method for producing allyl bromides, which are useful intermediates in the field of synthetic organic chemistry, particularly agricultural medicine and dyes. [Structure] In a method for producing allyl bromides by reacting allyl chlorides with metal bromide in the presence of water and a phase transfer catalyst, the allyl chlorides are thoroughly mixed with water and the phase transfer catalyst while stirring. Then, a metal bromide is gradually charged therein to react, or allyl chlorides and the metal bromide are sufficiently mixed and stirred, and a mixture of water and a phase transfer catalyst is dropped therein to react. |
