titleOfInvention | Dental impression syringe |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To provide a dental impression material syringe that allows an impression taking operation to be performed easily and accurately without failure. [Constitution] The surface of the dental impression syringe is coated with a temperature-sensitive discoloring agent. Alternatively, a dental impression syringe is molded and manufactured from a material containing a temperature-sensitive discoloring agent. The temperature-sensitive discoloring agent preferably comprises (1) an electron-donating color-developing organic compound, (2) an organic compound having a phenolic hydroxyl group, and (3) a color-developing adjusting compound. The temperature-sensitive discoloring agent is preferably one that causes a color change at or near the softening point of the agar impression material. Alternatively, in addition to causing the color change at or near the softening point of the agar impression material, the color change may occur at least at other temperatures. |
