abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] The method for producing an olefin polymer according to the present invention is preferably an olefin polymer obtained by polymerizing an olefin in the presence of an olefin polymerization catalyst containing a [A] metallocene compound. Is characterized by adding the oxygen-containing compound [D] to the olefin polymer solution. As the oxygen-containing compound [D], alcohol or water is preferably used. [Effect] According to the present invention, an olefin polymer having an excellent hue can be produced in good yield.
