(57) [Summary] [Structure] A diamine compound represented by the following general formula (I) (chemical formula 1) The novel diamine compound represented by the general formula (I) according to the present invention effectively functions as a photoconductive material, and is optically or chemically enhanced by a sensitizer such as a dye or a Lewis acid. Therefore, it is useful as a charge-transporting substance in a so-called function-separated photosensitive layer in which the charge-transporting layer of the photosensitive layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor is divided into two layers. |
