titleOfInvention | Thermosetting silicone hard coating composition and abrasion resistant thermoplastic composite |
abstract | (57) [Abstract] [PROBLEMS] To provide a silicone hard coating composition having an improved curing rate, and a thermoplastic base material coated with the composition provides excellent abrasion resistance and weather resistance. The thermoplastic composite material more quickly. The hard coating composition comprises an aqueous / organic dispersion solvent containing 10 to 50% by weight of solids and an effective amount of a tetraalkylammonium fluoride (fluoride) as a curing catalyst. The solid content is 10 to 70% by weight of the solid content. Of colloidal silica and 30 to 90% by weight of the solid of a partial condensate of an organoalkoxysilane. The above tetraalkyl ammonium fluoride has the formula (R) 4 N + F − Wherein R is a C (2-4) alkyl group. The curing catalyst increases the curing rate. The thermoplastic base material is a polycarbonate base material. |
