titleOfInvention | Antibacterial agent |
abstract | (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Structure] General formula such as trimethoxysilylpropyldiethylenetriamine, XYZ (X is a group capable of coordinating to a metal ion, Y is a divalent hydrocarbon group Oxygen, nitrogen in the chain, Alternatively, an antibacterial agent containing a metal complex compound in which a ligand (which may have a sulfur atom, Z represents an alkoxysilyl group) is coordinated with a metal ion such as silver ion as a main component. [Effect] Since the antibacterial agent is soluble in organic solvents and has an alkoxysilyl group, it can be chemically bound to a substance having a functional group such as an OH group on the surface, and a polymer is formed by a condensation reaction to make it insoluble. It is easily fixed. In addition, the antibacterial property is effective over a wide diffusion range because the metal ion dissociated from the metal complex is effective, and the condensate of the metal complex compound also exhibits antibacterial property. A wide variety of applications are expected for this immobilized antibacterial agent that releases metal ions gradually. |
