abstract | (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Purpose] To provide a method for producing a propylene block copolymer having an excellent balance of impact resistance and rigidity and a high polymer falling speed. [Structure] 1) In the presence of a polymerization catalyst composed of a solid catalyst component containing Mg, Ti, a halogen and an electron donating compound as an essential component, 2) an organoaluminum compound and 3) an organosilicon compound having a Si—O—C bond, A process for producing a propylene block copolymer, which comprises a step (a) of polymerizing propylene and a step (b) of copolymerizing propylene and ethylene in the presence of a compound of the following formula.
