titleOfInvention | Aluminum borate whisker aggregate and method for producing the same |
abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] An aggregate characterized by having radially grown acicular crystal aggregates having excellent properties for bonding to a base material as a reinforcing material for a composite material, or substantially in both directions. Disclosed is an aluminum borate-based whisker aggregate having a novel shape, which is characterized by being composed of needle-shaped crystals that are radially grown symmetrically, and a method for producing the same. [Structure] Boric acid characterized in that it has aggregates of acicular crystals that grow radially, or acicular crystals that grow radially symmetrically in both directions. Aluminum-based whisker aggregate. Further, it is a method for producing an aluminum borate-based whisker aggregate, which comprises heat-treating a mixture of an aluminum component-containing raw material, a boron component-containing raw material, a melting agent and an additive containing antimony. |
