(57) [Summary] [Purpose] To provide a method capable of accurately quantifying the amount of 1,5-anhydroglucitol in a sample even when maltose is present in the sample such as serum. [Structure] After removing saccharides from the sample, 1,5-anhydroglucitol (1,5-AG) is quantified using an enzyme such as pyranose oxidase containing no α-glucosidase, or α -Quantify 1,5-AG enzymatically in the presence of a glucosidase inhibitor. Alternatively, after removing saccharides from the sample treated with α-glucosidase, 1,5-AG is quantified using an enzyme. Alternatively, a method of avoiding the influence of maltose when measuring 1,5-AG in a sample after converting glucose in the sample to another compound by enzymatic conversion. |
