titleOfInvention | Photothermographic material |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Object] An object of the present invention is to provide a photothermographic material having improved transferability of dyes and improved color mixing prevention. The above object of the present invention is to have on a support at least two photosensitive layers containing a hydrophilic binder, a photosensitive silver halide emulsion, and a dye-donor substance that forms or releases a diffusible dye during thermal development. In the photothermographic material, at least one intermediate layer of (a) gelatin (b) kappa carrageenan or iota carrageenan, which is a natural high molecular weight polysaccharide, is provided between the photosensitive layers. It has a water-soluble polymer other than (a) and (b) as a binder, and the weight ratio of each polymer of (a), (b), and (c) contained in the intermediate layer is (b) / This is achieved by a photothermographic material having (a) = 0.05 to 0.3 and (c) / (a) = 0.4 to 2.0. |
