(57) [Summary] [Structure] A method for producing a tri-substituted urea is disclosed. Nitroarene, carbon monoxide and a secondary amine, in the presence of a Group VIII transition metal catalyst, optionally one selected from the group consisting of a primary amine, a halide ion containing compound, and a chelated phosphorus / nitrogen compound. Alternatively, the reaction is carried out in the presence of a further accelerator. [Effect] Under optimum conditions, tri-substituted urea can be obtained in high yield. |
