(57) [Abstract] [Objective] Improvement of route from feedstock to alkenoic acid derivative at low cost [Structure] The present invention provides an aliphatic conjugated diene with a palladium compound, a polydentate phosphine ligand and optionally a protonic acid. The present invention relates to a process for producing an alkenoic acid derivative, which comprises reacting with a compound containing carbon monoxide and a hydroxyl group in a liquid state in the presence of a catalyst system consisting of, and carrying out this reaction in a reaction medium having a controlled polarity. |
