abstract (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Objective] To provide a novel compressed tablet confectionery in which flavors, sweeteners and mixtures thereof are controlled and released, and a method for preparing the same. A confectionery compressed tablet characterized by a single product containing separate phases having the effect of providing a timed release of at least one flavor ingredient in a sequential manner. Furthermore, the preparation of a confectionary compressed tablet which allows the sequential delivery of flavors in which the first phase provides at least the physical structure of the tablet and the second phase provides a mouthfeel that is texturally different from the first phase.
