(57) [Summary] [Purpose] A magnetic fluid in which fine particles of higher fatty acid salt-adsorbed ferrites are dispersed in a low vapor pressure base oil using a phosphate ester dispersant. To provide a manufacturing method of a product that is significantly extended. [Structure] Ferrite fine particles adsorbing higher fatty acid salt are dispersed in phosphate triester-based low vapor pressure base oil using a phosphate ester having a mono- or di-oxyalkylene substituent to produce a magnetic fluid. At this time, sodium oleate-adsorbed magnetite fine particles which have been subjected to deflocculation treatment in a toluene solution and then agglomerated with acetone are used. |
