titleOfInvention Feed for farmed fish
abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To promote the growth of cultured fish, improve the meat quality, keep the fish in good condition, and enhance the productivity of aquaculture. It also provides a feed for cultured fish that does not cause pollution in the culture area. [Composition] A feed for cultured fish, which is mainly composed of porous calcium silicate having a solubilization rate of 50 % or more. [Effect] When the above-mentioned porous calcium silicate is added to a live feed, a mixed feed or a mixed feed thereof and fed from a juvenile to an adult fish, the growth of the fish is promoted and excess fat is removed, resulting in elasticity. It is possible to obtain a cultured fish having good quality, meat quality that is glossy and has no odor. Also, since there is no excess fat, it takes a long time to reach post-rigor rigidity, thus improving the freshness. Further, the above-mentioned porous calcium silicate also adsorbs ammonia and fat in the breeding sea area and prevents contamination. Further, since the silicate ions eluted from the above-mentioned porous calcium silicate serve as a bait for diatom plankton and promote their growth, it is expected that the generation of flagellates, which causes red tide, is suppressed and the water quality is kept good. From the above, the health of cultured fish is maintained and the productivity of aquaculture is improved during the breeding period.
