titleOfInvention Rubbing roller for image forming apparatus
abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] As a rubbing roller 29 for cleaning the photosensitive drum 11 of an apparatus for forming an image by an electrophotographic method, a fine silica powder in which a silanol group on the surface is substituted or covered with a methylsiloxane group is used. A roller made of surface-treated foamed silicone rubber is used. As the surface treatment agent, dimethyl silicone oil, hexamethylene disilazane, dimethyldichlorosilane, trimethylmonochlorosilane, silane coupling agent, etc. are used. [Effects] Unreacted low-molecular cyclic siloxane and the like can be prevented from bleeding out without impairing the original properties of the foamed silicone rubber, and image fogging occurs even when used in contact or pressure contact with the photoreceptor of the image forming apparatus. Is prevented.
