titleOfInvention Lithium zirconate sintered body and method for producing the same
abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a lithium zirconate sintered body having a high strength and a dense structure, which is suitable as a tritium breeding blanket material for a fusion reactor, and a method for producing the same. [Composition] Obtained by subjecting monoclinic lithium zirconate powder to hot pressure sintering, the crystal structure exhibits the same single crystal system as the lithium zirconate powder, and the sintered density is 90% of the theoretical density. A lithium zirconate sintered body having the above texture. The manufacturing method is characterized in that the monoclinic lithium zirconate powder is hot-pressed in an argon atmosphere at a temperature below the crystal transformation point of lithium zirconate.
