titleOfInvention | Method for producing silver halide emulsion |
abstract | (57) Abstract: A core of AgBrI having an iodide content of at least 2.5 mol% and a first AgBrI surrounding the core and having a lower iodide content of the miscibility gap. In a method of making a tabular silver halide emulsion having an outer shell, (a) a core containing 2 to 20 mol% AgI is first double jetted at 30 to 50 ° C. and pBr 1.2 to 2.3. And (b) silver ions and also bromide and iodide at a ratio within the AgBrI miscibility gap during the growing phase, and (c) at least one other halogen having an iodide content of 20 mol% or less. A method characterized in that the silver halide layer is applied by precipitation. [Effect] A halogenated emulsion having an improved grain / sensitivity ratio can be obtained. |
