abstract | (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide an X-ray image tube having a simple configuration and capable of improving resolution. [Configuration] A cesium iodide discontinuous phosphor layer 12 which is discontinuous in the surface direction is formed on an aluminum substrate 11, and a cesium iodide continuous phosphor layer 13 is laminated on the discontinuous phosphor layer 12 for input. The fluorescent screen 14 is formed. Discontinuous phosphor layer 12, the thickness of the peripheral portion of the input fluorescent screen 14 is made thinner than that of the central portion. Even in a portion where the amount of light in the peripheral portion is small, the amount of absorption is changed due to the difference in film thickness from the central portion of the input fluorescent screen, so that the change in luminance is small in the central portion and the peripheral portion. By setting the distance between the fiber bodies 12a to be 0.5 μm or more, oxygen easily enters between the fiber bodies 12a and an oxide film is easily formed. By setting the diameter of the fiber body 12a to 40 μm or less, the oxide film around the columnar crystals can be easily formed by a small movement. |
