abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] A substantially uniaxially oriented film composed of a crystalline copolymer composed of 80 to 98% by weight of ethylene monofluoride trifluoride and 2 to 20% by weight of vinylidene fluoride. Phase difference unevenness is smaller than that of ethylene monochloride trifluoride homopolymer. Further, although the birefringence wavelength dispersibility is inferior to that of the polycarbonate, in combination with a liquid crystal used at a medium speed or higher response operation speed, it is possible to prevent the display color from being colored due to the birefringence wavelength dispersibility. Further, the photoelastic coefficient is about 1/4 that of polycarbonate, and it is possible to suppress the occurrence of color spots due to the residual stress generated when the polarizing plate and the liquid crystal plate are attached.
