(57) [Summary] [Purpose] In addition to the advantages of prior art tabular grain emulsions, Further provided are high chloride {100} tabular grain emulsions that provide excellent speed-granularity relationships. A radiation-sensitive emulsion containing a silver halide grain population comprising at least 50 mol% chloride with respect to silver, said emulsion comprising at least 50% of the grain population projected area.
