titleOfInvention Optically active 1-trimethylsilyloxy-2,2,2-trifluoroethylalkylketone and method for producing the same
abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a novel compound useful as an intermediate raw material of an antiferroelectric liquid crystal or a building block agent, and a method for producing the same. [Structure] Optically active 1-trimethylsilyloxy-2,2,2-trifluoroethylalkylketone which is a novel compound, and optically active 1-hydroxy-2 in the presence of a base in an aprotic organic solvent. , 2,2-trifluoroethylalkylketone and trimethylsilyltrifluoromethanesulfonate are reacted with each other to produce the novel compound. [Effect] This novel compound is useful as an intermediate raw material of an antiferroelectric liquid crystal, a building block agent, etc., and can be produced efficiently and in high yield.
