(57) [Abstract] [Purpose] More useful and easy to use as a surface water repellent agent for building materials such as wood, concrete and marble, a silane coupling agent, or an additive for olefin polymerization catalysts. Provided is a silane compound containing a tert-butylcyclohexyl group. [Structure] A 4-tert-butylcyclohexyl group-containing silane compound represented by the above formula [I].
