titleOfInvention | Method for producing high-purity naphthalenedicarboxylic acid |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Structure] Crude naphthalene dicarboxylic acid is dissolved in a mixed solvent consisting of an amine and a lower monohydric alcohol to crystallize the amine salt of naphthalene dicarboxylic acid, and the precipitated amine salt is separated and placed in a nitrogen stream. A high-purity naphthalenedicarboxylic acid is obtained by heating and drying, and a polyhydric alcohol having a boiling point higher than that of the amine and alcohol is added to the residual liquid from which the amine salt has been separated, and the amine and alcohol are recovered by distillation. And a method for producing high-purity naphthalene dicarboxylic acid. [Effect] From a crude naphthalenedicarboxylic acid containing impurities and a coloring component obtained by an oxidation reaction of dialkylnaphthalene, naphthalenedicarboxylic acid having a high purity and a good hue can be effectively produced with a high recovery rate. The solvent used can be efficiently distilled and recovered at a high recovery rate while suppressing precipitation of amine salt of naphthalenedicarboxylic acid, impurities and the like while maintaining fluidity. |
