abstract | (57) [Summary] [Structure] An aromatic polyamide obtained by polycondensing a diamine of formula 1) and an aromatic dicarboxylic acid in an organic solvent, and a method for producing the same. 2) An aromatic polyamide from a diamine represented by the formula, in which the molecular ends of the polymer are sealed, and which has good thermal stability, and a method for producing the same. A resin composition comprising 100 parts by weight of an aromatic polyamide from the diamine of the formula 3) and 5 to 100 parts by weight of glass fiber, carbon fiber, potassium titanate fiber or aromatic polyamide fiber. [Effect] A melt-moldable aromatic polyamide having excellent heat resistance and heat stability was obtained. Moreover, an aromatic polyamide resin composition having excellent dimensional stability, mechanical properties, and processability was obtained. |
